Grab brings G!News to life and engages Grabbers like never before
“Shootsta gave us back the power to make the message our own.”
Natasha Wahap — Engagement Lead
The challenge
Grab, a leading technology company, sought to enhance its internal and external communications through engaging video content. They needed a cost-effective solution that allowed for professional editing and scalability. The goal was to create videos that were consistent with their brand and told authentic stories from their employees, known as “Grabbers.” However, they faced challenges in finding a partner who could provide these services without overdrawn budgets and extensive post-production work.
The solution
Grab partnered with Shootsta, empowering them to produce their own videos. Shootsta provided strong initial training, enabling Grab’s team to be equipped with the skills to start creating their own content. This approach allowed Grab to maintain control over their messaging and ensure brand consistency. Shootsta’s support and tools made it possible for Grab to produce high-quality videos efficiently and cost-effectively.
The results
The collaboration with Shootsta led to the successful creation of several video series, including “G!News” and “Meet the Team”. These videos received great responses on social media, and Grab’s internal workplace platform, achieving five-digit view counts. The ability to produce engaging and professional videos internally allowed Grab to pioneer new content types and effectively communicate with their audience. The partnership with Shootsta proved to be a valuable asset, supporting various departments such as Learning and Development and Internal Communications.
