Who can enter the Shootsta Impact Video Awards 2026?
Any business or team that has used Shootsta to produce video work between January 2025 and July 2026 is eligible to enter. Both Shootsta clients and Shootsta team members can submit nominations. There are 14 categories spanning project work (Brand, Product, Social, Learning, Customer, Internal Comms, Sales, Animation) and people or team recognition.
When do nominations open and close?
Entry submissions open on June 1, 2026 and close on July 31, 2026. Judging runs from August 3 to August 27, 2026. Finalists and winners are announced on September 3, 2026, with awards presented or shipped by the end of September.
How are the awards judged?
Every entry is reviewed against five criteria: Creativity, Business or Social Impact, Innovation, Best Practice, and Collaboration. The panel scores each criterion to identify finalists and winners in every category. Key Shootsta team members involved in winning projects may be included in the recognition.
What do winners receive?
Winners receive a commemorative plaque for key team members and third-party contributors, recognition across Shootsta's channels including newsletters and social media, a personal in-office presentation where logistics allow, and a professionally produced video interview spotlighting their story and impact.
How many award categories are there?
There are 14 categories in total. Eight Project Excellence Awards: Best Brand Story, Best Product Demo, Best Social Video, Best Learning Video, Best Customer Story, Best Internal Comms, Best Sales Video, and Best Animation. Six People and Team Awards: Content Hero of the Year, Most Impactful Use of Shootsta, Video Champion - Business Impact, Team of the Year - Video at Scale, Innovation Trailblazer, and Shootsta Ecosystem Star.
Can I enter the same project into more than one category?
Yes, projects can be entered into multiple categories where they fit the criteria. A brand film could be entered into Best Brand Story and Best Animation, for example. Each entry is judged on its own merits in each category.
Is there a fee to enter?
No, entering the Shootsta Impact Video Awards is free for all eligible businesses, teams, and individuals.
