How it was judged

Everything nominated was produced with Shootsta between January 2025 and July 2026, and judged in-house against creativity, business or social impact, innovation, best practice and collaboration.

Some of this work is internal, commercially sensitive, or both. We publish the winner and the category, and nothing else. No view counts, no volumes, no videos, unless a client has told us they would like theirs shared.

Project excellence · eight awards

The work.

Best Animation

Winner

Medibank

Member welcome animation

A first hello sets the tone for everything that follows. Medibank used animation to make the opening moment of a member relationship feel warm and human, and built it in a form the team can keep current as the proposition moves.

Runner-up

UOB Asset Management

Product explainer animation

An explainer that earned a second life as paid social creative, and drove app sign-ups from there.

Best Brand Story

Winner

Haifa North West Europe

Product anniversary animation

Twenty-five years of steady, dependable service is a story worth telling with care. Haifa North West Europe built a restrained, timeline-led piece about continuity and earned trust, made to read with or without sound. It anchored the wider anniversary campaign and reached precisely the growers, distributors and specialists it was made for.

“The animation allowed us to tell the MyMultifeed™ story in a simple and engaging way, highlighting 25 years of proven value for growers and distributors. It helped bring together history, customer focus, and product evolution into one clear narrative.”
Marketing and Communication Manager, Haifa North West Europe

Runner-up

Country Road Group

Brand video

A confident articulation of what the brand stands for, made to sit at the front of the group's storytelling.

Best Customer Story

Winner

Optus

Customer case study

A customer story that lets the customer do the talking. The case is made by the person who lived it, and that restraint is what gives it weight.

Runner-up

FUJIFILM Business Innovation Australia

Customer case study

A clear, credible account of a technical implementation told through the people who use it.

Best Internal Comms

Winner

Ralph Lauren

Board meeting video

A global sourcing change explained to a board in a single video, carrying real client testimony and doing the explanatory work that would otherwise have taken a room and an hour. It was a first-time producer's first piece, which makes it all the more impressive.

Runner-up

Stryker

Town hall

Town hall content with genuine craft behind it, holding attention across two regions.

Best Learning Video

Winner

Monash University

Clinical education animation series

Grant-funded public health work, built for the clinicians and patients who use it. This is a subject where getting the explanation right shapes what people do, and the series was made to be picked up and put to work.

Runner-up

Yancoal

Workplace safety animation

Heat stress builds gradually, which makes it a subject video is well suited to. By layering animation over real operational footage, Yancoal made the unseen visible and showed symptoms developing over time, then rolled it out across sites in three states.

Best Product Demo

Winner

TAFE Queensland

Employer product demo

This demo opens on the employer's need, finding job-ready people faster, and shows the platform meeting it. A second version for students came out of the same build, with the scripting swapped over one visual structure and existing footage reused. A repeatable model the team can run again.

Runner-up

Stryker

Product demo series

Surgical robotics asks for precision in the detail and pacing that respects a clinical audience's expertise. This delivers both.

Best Sales Video

Winner

UOB Asset Management

Fund launch video

Made for a moment that mattered. It premiered at the Singapore Exchange listing ceremony as the fund came to market.

Runner-up

Precision Polymer Engineering

Trade show hero loops

Stand content built for a busy exhibition hall, designed to catch someone in the second and a half you have as they walk past.

“The CHEMUK 2026 hero loops were a great way to distil some key product messaging into an at-a-glance format, perfectly suited to an exhibition audience with a low attention span. As a result of these shorter-form videos, we had a significant uplift on conversations around these products at the show. Thanks to the team for their support in pulling these together!”
Precision Polymer Engineering

Best Social Video

Winner

Tempe Tourism

Summer campaign social video

A short-form piece built to turn scrollers into diners during summer restaurant week, fast-cut local hidden gems paired with an unambiguous call to action. It was the clearest audience result in this year's field, with strong retention and engagement carrying interest straight through to participating restaurants.

Runner-up

Name withheld at the client's request

Anniversary videos

One idea carried across Hong Kong, Japan, the Philippines and Korea, holding its shape in every one of them. That is what multi-market social asks for.

The last six are for the people behind the work.

People and team · six awards

The people.

Content Hero of the Year

Winner

KPMG

Global summit video series

Eight videos in a week and a half, produced across borders and timed to be presented on a global stage. Consistency at that pace is its own kind of craft.

Runner-up

Deloitte

Careers series

A sustained, coherent series covering People, Growth, Perks and Purpose, held to one standard across the whole run.

Most Impactful Use of Shootsta

Winner

Avature

Motorsport event video

An inventive use of scripting and video creativity that delivered impactful videos for the final audience.

Runner-up

Qantas

Lounge programme video

Video made in-house went on to form part of the submission that won gold for Best Lounge Drinks Programme at the Cellars in the Sky awards in London. A Shootsta workflow carrying a client all the way to an international industry win.

Innovation Trailblazer

Winner

Equifax

Thought leadership series

The first use of an AI transcription and vox-pop workflow in this account: a genuine process first, developed from an open brief. This category rewards the team willing to try something new, and Equifax did exactly that.

Runner-up

AustralianSuper

Internal video series

Three distinct formats developed in parallel, each with its own rhythm and purpose.

Team of the Year - Video at Scale

Winner

Stockland

Stockland brought more work to Shootsta than any other client this year, and held the quality right through it. The workflow has been absorbed into how the team works: video as a standing capability.

Runner-up

Blacktown City Council

A close second, and remarkably close. The council's output this year ran across community campaigns, staff communication and public education, so it stood out for breadth as well as volume.

Video Champion - Business Impact

Winner

Qantas

Cabin crew video-first programme

The cabin crew team has driven a video-first approach across recruitment, onboarding, training and operational communication. Base-specific induction videos standardised what new starters see and removed the need for face-to-face base inductions, giving leaders their time back while making every new crew member's first experience the same one. That is what this category is for: a change in how an organisation runs.

Shootsta Ecosystem Star

Winner

AustralianSuper

Judge-voted, and given for the way a team shows up across a whole year. AustralianSuper's team has been generous with what they have learned, quick to collaborate, and consistently good to build with.

Runner-up

Schroders

Fund explainer series

Schroders worked with Shootsta from the beginning to translate key details into visuals. The final output was dynamic, precise and delivered all the right messages to their clients.

The Shootsta Impact Video Awards recognise work made by our clients' own teams, with Shootsta. Judging was carried out in-house under confidentiality, against published criteria.

Entry volumes, view counts and performance figures are not published. A video appears only where the client has already published it themselves.
