Where do I go when I arrive?
We are at the Hive Carpenter, in Carpenter Haus at 36 Carpenter Street. Go straight up to Level 6, where the Hive cafe is. There is no need to stop at reception. Tea and coffee are on from 9.45am and we start at 10am.
How do I get there by MRT or car?
Clarke Quay MRT (NE5) is about a 2 minute walk away, and Exit A brings you out on the North Canal Road side. If you drive, the URA car park on Carpenter Street is the closest and the cheapest. Riverside Point at 30 Merchant Road is the nearest covered car park if that one is full.
Will there be food?
Yes. Tea and coffee from 9.45am, and lunch from 12pm once the workshop finishes, where you can network with peers from across industries. If you have dietary requirements, reply to your confirmation email and we will pass them on to the venue.
Can I bring a colleague?
Yes, and two of you often gets more out of it. One person usually owns the brief and someone else owns the making, so the plan you write on the day is easier to act on when you both heard the same thing. Forward them this page and they can save a seat in two taps. The room has a limit on numbers, so it is worth doing early.
Do I need to bring a camera or any equipment?
No, there is nothing to bring but a notepad. We work through real examples from the room rather than invented ones, so what matters is that you know how video currently gets made at your company.
