Pro tip for filming in Singapore – heat and humidity can make lugging gear difficult, so overcast weather and avoiding 11am-3pm shoots are your best bet.

For capturing Singapore’s exotic side, Gardens by the Bay’s tropical design-led gardens are a lesson in green artistry. Its Bay South area includes the photogenic ‘Supertrees’ (16 storeys high!) and Flower Dome, complete with festive lighting after sunset. Visually, the garden has a futuristic, architectural feel, so it’s great for videos that speak to building or future-planning. Gardens by the Bay is also conveniently located just around the corner from Marina Bay Sands – simply head west.
